Plas Bodfa was added onto significantly during this period, the entire South section of the house, creating garages, additional bedrooms for the residents and inner courtyard. The house was totally changed in character at this time. John Roberts did the brickwork on the extension.
Lyn Llywelyn was the matron of the care home and lived in the lodge when Ken was in America
Christmas parties with relatives invited, entertainment, concerts, decorations.
The local vicar did a service at Easter
lots of ponies and a dog called Snoopy, doves, peacocks, chickens.
