Reading the landscape: a GeoMôn walk

What: Guided Walk lead by GeoMôn geologists
Where: meet at Lleiniog Beach car park
When: Sunday 27 April, 16:00

A guided walk along a short section of Lleiniog beach and perhaps in the forest looking at the glacial features of the landscape, as well as some other points of interest such as the fish weirs, post-glacial peat deposits ("drowned forests") if exposed, springs, field drainage systems, and the largest undisturbed erratics of Anglesey. The walk will be accompanied by a series of readings and discussions of the works of various scientists who have studied the locales such as Edward and Annie Greenly, allowing us to read and understand the multiperiod landscape in fascinating new ways.
