Whalebone
The ‘piano in the pond’ has inspired yet another artistic creation! Singer, songwriter and actor Reid Anderson visited our ‘Bodfa Continuum’ exhibition last spring. He fell in love with the ‘forest room’, Helen Walker Brown’s installation ‘Outside In’ and was entranced by ‘Piano Drowning’. Combining the two spaces in his latest music video, he shot the work in a single sunny, shivery day in February. The song, ‘Whalebone’, features an actual whalebone and a succession of actors from a baby, a child, young adult through middle and old age.
