'A Pile of Leaves' Tom Witherick
Individual photocopies of fallen leaves are stacked to form a sculpture on the floor. Each one is a unique leaf that was intended to have been taken away by visitors to the exhibition. Instead, take a look at our little animation! Through this collective act of taking away one by one, the piece highlights ideas to do with cycles, repetition, collection and dispersal.
Free Art! Please disperse!
As part of the grand finale of the Unus Multorum exhibition at Plas Bodfa, we are scattering Tom Witherick’s ‘Pile of Leaves’. The leaves in this installation were supposed to have been taken by visitors over the course of the exhibition. As we were never able to open as planned, we are distributing the leaves free* through the post!
Order yours here: www.plasbodfa.com/objects
You will receive three leaves in a C4 manilla envelope.
* The leaves themselves are free, the only charge is just over the cost of a second-class stamp (in the UK) or the cost of postage (internationally).
