'Ambiguity Above the Familiar' Charlie Parker
120 black & white film, digital prints
Our brains are programmed to disregard most of our surroundings. This series focuses on everyday scenes we often walk by, pass under and otherwise ignore. It encourages us to alter our viewpoints and appreciate what exists within familiar environments. Images from North Wales.
The photographs were meant to have been installed as printed photographs hung on the ceiling in an upper floor room at Plas Bodfa. Lockdown made this impossible. Instead, the digital images were sent and projected on ceiling spaces throughout the house.
