'Starting the work is two thirds of it' Liz von Graevenitz

Return to Unus Multorum 2020

The designs for this large mural was inspired by William Jones of Holt, a Welsh weaver who recorded over 100 designs in the mid 1700s. His designs were used to make tapestry quilts for the woollen industry.

Liz came for a brief stay at Plas Bodfa to collect wood onsite to make charcoal for her mural and multiples project. Cut short by the impending COVID-19 crisis, she did manage to finish her mural on the outside of the house before returning home.
